The rapid prototyping machines need a closed file to be read. The exported .stl from GC has a problem with the geometries that meet at the end of each polygon. Looking for corrections in GC and also in http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/ |

Moving body in history - 18th century Dance notation
As part of the initial research of movement and dynamics of the human body and translations into architecture, I discovered this gorgeous 18th century collection of dance notations. They are records of the choreography of moving bodies, in these cases a prescriptive trace of how to move, to be repeated in time. I want to use these recordings of movement as the basis for beginners experiments into Generative Components and parametric modelling. It would be interesting to experiment with what kinds of forms might evolve (and other outputs??) using tools like controllers and patterns from these 18th century movement markers.
